The Gauchos program has earned an excellent reputation with high school and college coaches and most importantly, with young people; we motivate kids to stay in school by providing the incentive of excellent basketball competition and provide every youngster with the opportunity to make something of his or her life.
The program has proven effective, as 95% of all Gauchos earn a high school diploma and 85% of our high school graduates go on to college, many of whom receive a full scholarship from their experience playing with the Gauchos during their high school basketball career.
Our alumni have graced the professional ranks of the NBA and WNBA. They can be seen playing collegiate basketball for the country's most recognized universities and colleges. More importantly, they have survived the trials and tribulations of the inner city and have achieved success.
Teamwork Foundation, located in the Bronx, has been providing
high quality after-school and summer programs to inner city boys and girls for over 40 years!
